A Short History...

The Lakehead Stamp Club was established in the Fall of 1947 by a group of approximately 12 enthusiastic philatelists.

Over the years, the Club has enjoyed much success and growth, and today has an active membership of 47, although generally only about 25 to 30 show up at meetings.

The Club, known as Chapter 33 of the Royal Philatelic Society of Canada, gained its Chapter status in 1954 and has maintained its role with the Society to date.

The current Club President is Martin Fuhr.  For contact information, please see "Contact" page.

**Please Note: Do to the large influx of emails requesting valuations of stamp collections, we are encouraging those seeking advice to attend an in-person meeting.
